Honbetsu Park (Yoshitsune-no-sato Honbetsu Kouen)

The park is famous for azaleas and cherry blossoms, while the legend of Minamoto Yoshitsune, a historical character, is still alive here.

In Honbetsu Park, Azalea and cherry blossoms are simultaneously in full bloom in spring. In summer, many people who like outdoor activities come to the park to camp and use the cottages. At Yoshitsune-no-Yakata one can learn about the legendary story that Yoshitsune and his followers, Heian period (794 – 1192) warriors, had visited this area. At the facility there is also an information counter that provides information on the park.
